ETC Net3 4-Port Gateway

ETC's Net3 Four Port Gateway is a DMX and RDM (Remote Device Management) data distribution device built for Net3 systems using the industry standard sACN (streaming Architecture for Control Networks) protocol. Designed to bridge Ethernet-based control networks with DMX512 and RDM, it uses bidirectional Ethernet communication with other network devices to send or receive DMX512 data and RDM messages where you need them, at the rig, in a rack, or on the road.

Net3 and sACN Integration

Compatible with ETC Net3 system products, this gateway helps you distribute DMX over your existing network infrastructure while keeping configuration and monitoring straightforward. It is ANSI E1.17 ACN protocol compatible, supporting both ACN and streaming ACN protocols for modern networked lighting control workflows.

Flexible 4-Port DMX Connectivity

The modular port design supports up to four DMX wiring connections and accepts DMX Input, DMX Output, RJ45, or Terminal Strip connections in any combination. Ports are configurable for input or output, making it easier to adapt the same unit for distributed DMX output locations, DMX capture points, or mixed I/O installations.

Capacity, Status, and Power Options

The Four Port Gateway can transport up to 2048 channels of DMX over Ethernet, supporting multi-universe distribution in Net3 environments. An integrated LCD displays status and configuration information for quick on-site verification. For power and deployment flexibility, it supports Power over Ethernet (PoE 802.3af) or an external power supply, and the compact design supports tabletop, rack-mount, or touring configurations.

Configuration and RDM Support

Configure the gateway using Gateway Configuration Editor (GCE) or directly from ACN. With RDM support, the gateway can pass RDM messages to help enable remote device communication on supported fixtures and devices, reducing the need for physical access during setup and troubleshooting.
