NEW GLP Impression X4, RGBW

The GLP impression X4 RGBW is a compact, high-output LED wash light designed for stages, studios, touring rigs, and permanent installs where smooth color mixing and fast, repeatable movement matter. It features 19 RGBW high output LEDs in a slimline body with no base unit, plus a motorized zoom that shifts from tight beams to wide washes for flexible coverage.

Optics, Output, and Color

The impression X4 houses a 7 to 50 degree zoom range and delivers 5,085 lumens with even color mixing across the beam at all angles. Full color mixing includes CTC, and its RGBW homogenous sources offer a wide color pallete from soft pastels to deep saturates. For creative looks, customizable pixel patterns can be applied across the front face.

Movement and Control

Built for dynamic cues, the fixture provides high precision 3 phase stepping motor control and position feedback, supporting consistent focusing and reliable programming. Maximum speed is 660 degree pan in 2 seconds and 260 degree tilt in 1 second. Control is via DMX-512 protocol, with 8 or 16 bit resolution selectable for either fast, efficient programming or smoother fades and movement.

Effects and Dimming

A combined shutter and dimmer delivers continuous dimming from 0 to 100%, along with variable strobe effects from 1 to 10 Hz, plus random strobe, pulse effects, and internal macro effects for quick, repeatable looks.

Onboard Setup and Thermal Management

Setup and adjustments are handled through a back-lit graphic LCD menu with four illuminated buttons. Very quiet, temperature controlled ventilation, over-temperature protection, and color calibration features help maintain consistent performance over time. Additional conveniences include internal color-presets.

Build and LED Engine

Weighing just 17.5 lbs., the impression X4 is easy to rig and reposition while still delivering high output. The light engine uses 19 Osram high power RGBW LEDs, with an average service life of 50,000 hours.
