As the workhorse of Rosco's new family of fog machines, Vapour combines precise output control with a simple, one-step cleaning process and common core components that are designed to be replaced quickly, so it can stay in service for demanding production schedules.

Continuous fog with precise output control

Precise output control gives the Vapour a wide range of atmospheric looks, from fine wisps of smoke to billowing, continuous clouds of fog. Careful monitoring of temperature and pump speed helps maintain consistent results, whether you are building subtle haze-like texture on stage or creating dense fog for dramatic reveals and lighting effects.

Built-in control options for shows and venues

Two control options are standard in the Vapour, supporting both hands-on operation and cue-based programming. A detachable timed remote offers convenient local control of output and operation, while an integrated digital DMX interface enables programmed fog effects from a lighting desk. For multi-unit setups, Rosco's Multi-Link feature allows a single Vapour Remote to control up to four Vapour, Vapour Plus, or V-Hazer units that are daisy-chained together via 3-pin XLR, helping simplify control when covering larger stages or multiple zones.

Tour-ready design and maintenance-friendly details

The Vapour is engineered for ease of service and cleaning, including an air-input connection for easy cleaning that helps reduce clogs, plus a modular, common-core component design that simplifies repair and maintenance for production and hire companies. A bottle cavity securely holds both 4L and 5L fluid bottles to streamline international touring logistics, and the rugged 12g steel case with chip-resistant powder-coated paint is designed to withstand frequent transport. Hard point attachments support hanging bracket installations when floor placement is not ideal.

The Vapour is designed to use Rosco's entire range of Academy Award® Winning fog fluids that have been used and approved by professionals in every market. Rosco Vapour machines has been tested for use in professional theatrical productions and is included under theEquipment-Based Guidelines of the Equity-League Pension and Health Trust Funds. Rosco Vapour machines are also compliant with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers Safety Bulletin #10.
