The Mega-Lite Baby Color Q70 is a bright, color-changing LED fixture designed for compact wash and accent lighting in mobile rigs, installs, and tight spaces. Equipped with 7 x 10-watt RGBW quad-chip LEDs and a body that’s less than a 5" square, its output competes with larger fixtures while keeping footprint and weight low.

Color Mixing and Beam Control

The RGBW quad-chip LEDs produce a wide range of colors, including pastel shades, and help the face of the LEDs appear uniform in color. A 20° beam angle provides a more focused look for punchy washes and highlights, and the included diffuser opens the beam to 25° for smoother coverage at closer distances.

Control Options for Rigs and Standalone Use

For integrated lighting systems, the Baby Color Q70 supports USITT DMX 512A control with 3/4/7 DMX channel modes, making it easy to match the fixture to your console patch and programming style. Built-in strobe, macro, and dimmer effects add flexibility for live shows, and audio trigger plus master/slave operation provide quick setup options when you are running without a controller.

Mounting, Power, and I/O

A double mounting yoke lets the fixture sit securely on the floor or hang from a structure, and the digital display is designed for straightforward configuration. The Baby Color Q70 runs on 110-240V auto-sensing power and uses a NEMA 5-15 with PowerCON, with PowerCON in and out for easier power distribution. DMX data in/out is available on both 3-pin or 5-pin XLR.

Additional specs include 4 dimming curves, 255-step per color standalone programming, several standalone presets, a compact 4.25" x 8.25" x 7.25" housing, and a 5 lb. weight.
