The Martin MAC TW1 is a powerful, silent tungsten wash light designed for clean, even stage and studio washes with a soft-edged beam. It pairs a motorized zoom with rich CMY color mixing, and it can be run from the built-in dimmer or from an external dimmer, making it easy to integrate into both modern control setups and dimmer-based workflows.
Light Output and Color Control
With total output up to 14,200 lumens, the MAC TW1 is built to deliver strong tungsten wash coverage while maintaining smooth, uniform field quality. Its CMY color mixing system offers independently variable 0 to 100% control, allowing precise color tuning and consistent looks across cues.
Zoom, Dimming, and Effects
A motorized zoom lets you adapt the fixture to different throw distances and coverage needs. Zoom options include Narrow 14.5° to 27°, Standard 20° to 41°, and Very wide 97° to 105% (1/10 peak angles). Dimming is supported via internal and external electronic dimming plus mechanical dimming. Electronic dimming includes multi-voltage IGBT and 80 V internal dimmer options, along with “plug and play” external dimming. Mechanical dimming is 0 to 100%.
For cueing and dynamic looks, the shutter provides rapid strobe effects up to 10 Hz, including random strobe.
Quiet Operation and Movement
Patented very low-noise cooling supports quiet operation in noise-sensitive environments. For positioning, the fixture provides 540° pan and 242° tilt for flexible aiming across stage or set.
