Easy Transition from Tungsten to LED

If you're looking to upgrade your tungsten lighting spotlights to LED, the Lustr 2 uses the same shutter blade, lens barrel and optics as a traditional Source Four, making the transition from tungsten to LED easier. There's no need to throw out or sell off your current lens tubes, as they will work seamlessly with the Lustr 2.

Color Quality That Matches Conventional Fixtures

If you're worried about matching the light of an HPL lamp, this fixture has you covered. ETC added lime green LEDs to the mix, which improves the overall lumen output in open white and lighter tints, allowing you to match the color of a conventional Source Four. The Lustr 2 also utilizes extra red to produce ambers, straws & pinks that allow for great sunsets, moonlight and dramatic scenes.

For front light and key light applications, the Lustr 2 is designed to beautifully illuminate skin tones and other objects for a natural appearance with high color rendering, and its broad-spectrum color interacts seamlessly with conventional sources in mixed rigs.

Control, Dimming, and Rigging-Friendly Connectivity

The Lustr 2 supports multiple control options, including RGB, strobe, and consolefree Master/Slave mode. A 15-bit virtual dimming engine delivers smooth fades with minimal color shift during dimming, which is especially useful for theatrical cues and camera-friendly transitions.

Setup is streamlined with power and DMX in/thru connections. DMX512 in/thru is provided via five-pin XLR connectors, and up to three fixtures can be linked via power in/thru connectors (four total fixtures per circuit) to help reduce cable runs in permanent installs and touring rigs.

Optical and Accessory Options

Use the included soft-focus diffuser for creating washes or soft light. The fixture includes slots for glass or stainless steel patterns and soft focus diffuser, plus an accessory slot for motorized pattern devices or an optional iris, making it a flexible choice for templates, breakup, and precise beam shaping.

Power, Safety, and Environmental Ratings

The Lustr 2 features a 100VAC to 240VAC 50/60Hz universal power input for easy deployment across venues and regions. It is ETL Listed to UL1573 and IP20 rated.
