The Chauvet DJ Stage Designer 50 is a theater-style DMX controller built to run LED PAR fixtures, relay packs, and dimmer packs from a compact desk footprint. It pairs the size of a 24-channel dimming console with the functionality of a 48-channel console, making it a practical choice for venues, churches, touring rigs, and schools that need hands-on control without dedicating extra space to a larger desk.

Programming and Playback for Live Shows

The Stage Designer 50 supports up to 8 pages with 12 scenes each and up to 96,000 programmable steps, giving you room to build looks for multiple songs, acts, or set changes and recall them quickly during a performance. To keep transitions clean in front of an audience, it includes built-in, two-scene cross faders for smooth fades between live stage looks. Two programmable auxiliaries add flexibility for additional playback options or custom control needs.

Flexible Patching, MIDI, and Audio Triggering

When your fixture layout changes, DMX channel patching lets you reassign channels so your programming can better match your rig, instead of forcing you to rebuild scenes from scratch. Built-in MIDI support enables remote dimming and scene triggering, useful when integrating with external controllers, show control, or keyboard/drum triggers. For music-driven moments, you can coordinate light cues using the direct audio input connector or the built-in microphone.
