The Pathway PWREP Wall-Mount 8-Port DMX Repeater is an installation-ready opto-splitter for DMX512 distribution, designed to enable reliable star-wiring while helping isolate and protect connected equipment from electrical faults. With internal pre-configuration and pre-wiring, it is built to streamline permanent installs in venues, studios, and architectural lighting systems where clean, organized DMX distribution matters.

DMX Distribution with Isolation and Protection

The Pathway DMX Repeater series of opto-splitters are an essential component of DMX distribution systems, permitting star-wiring configurations while isolating and protecting equipment from electrical faults. Self-resetting port protection (no fuses) is designed to recover automatically from voltage fault conditions, reducing service calls and downtime.

RDM Support (E1.20)

The RDM model supports the bi-directional communication standard E1.20 Remote Device Management (RDM), helping you monitor and configure compatible devices over the DMX line. It also provides an RDM-compliant non-isolated 5th output port for applications where that output type is required.

Installation-Friendly Connections and Clear Status Indication

For field wiring flexibility, the unit uses removable terminal connectors, with both compression-screw terminal and insulation-displacement contact (IDC) connectors supplied. LED indicators provide quick visual confirmation for Port Activity, Power, DMX Input, and Iso Power during commissioning and troubleshooting.
