The NEW Pathway PWPP Pathport Rack Mount DMX Gateway is designed for reliable DMX512 and RDM distribution over Ethernet in permanent installs, venues, and touring racks. Use it to connect DMX512 control devices to an IP network for distribution, or to take supported DMX-over-Ethernet protocols from the network and output standard DMX512 to end devices such as intelligent lighting fixtures, LEDs, and dimmers.

A 24 Watt, 24 VDC Auxiliary Power Supply is included.

Networked DMX and RDM for Modern Lighting Systems

The Pathport series of DMX/RDM Ethernet Gateways are the heart of DMX distribution. This 8-port rack-mount model provides a clean way to centralize DMX runs, manage multiple universes, and integrate DMX and Ethernet workflows without changing your fixtures or consoles.

Configuration, Monitoring, and Flexible Patching

Status LEDs for each port provide instant confirmation of DMX activity and direction. The LCD display and encoder knob allow for front panel configuration and reporting of commonly used settings, including IP address and subnet mask, port direction, and protocol selection. Advanced features include extensive protocol support, slot-by-slot patching using multiple sources, cross-fading on priority change, and signal loss behavior. Different Ethernet protocols may be merged together and prioritized.

• Eight DMX512 ports, individually configurable for input or output, with rear-panel 5-pin female XLR connectors
• 10/100 Mbps Ethernet network port for distributing or receiving DMX over IP
• DMX output configurable as whole universes or custom slot-by-slot patching
• Map up to eight control sources to each output slot, with merge and/or priority options per source
• Acts as an E1.20 RDM controller when used with free Pathscape configuration software or ANSI E1.33 RDMnet compliant controllers
• User-configurable DMX output speed and signal loss behavior
• Supports Pathway ssACN (Secure sACN), E1.31 streaming ACN (sACN), Art-Net, Pathport Protocol, and ShowNet
• Silent, fan-less operation
