The NEW Theatrixx xVision Video Converter, SDI DA 1 to 4 is a tour-ready SDI distribution amplifier designed for professional A/V events, presentations, live shows, and touring rigs where a stable video signal is critical. The xVision Video Converters are truly designed for the road. Video converters nowadays are used everywhere on profesionnal A/V events, presentations, live shows and tours and often have a critical role. Yet, they are often the weakest link in the signal chain. The xVision Video Converters were designed to change that.

Power and Road-Ready Setup

Built for fast deployments and clean power management, the converter features an integrated power supply with a locking PowerCON connector, helping prevent accidental disconnects and eliminating the need for wall-warts. A built-in convenience 120 V outlet can power a nearby projector, TV, laptop, or small video projector, reducing the need for a separate power bar to run both the converter and an adjacent device.

Mounting and Rigging Flexibility

For efficient rigging and tidy installs, the enclosure includes a magnetic stacking system and a non-skid rubber pad to help keep units secured on work surfaces. Multiple mounting options are supported, including C-Clamp, wall-mount adapter, LCD mount adapter, and belt adaptor, making it easy to integrate into racks, carts, truss, or display mounts.

Signal Distribution and Troubleshooting

The unit provides 1x SDI input to 4x SDI outputs, with all outputs fully reclocked and amplified to help maintain signal integrity across downstream runs and devices. Plug-n-play operation means no dipswitches, buttons, or menus to manage, and clear status LED indicators support quick on-site troubleshooting. A unique color and alphabetic coding system also helps with on-the-field identification when multiple converters are in use.
