NEW Chauvet Professional Ovation B-2805FC

The Chauvet Professional Ovation B-2805FC is a batten-style, full color LED (RGBAL) fixture designed for theatre, film, and production, and it is the first batten style fixture to take advantage of the extended color capabilities of the RGBA-Lime color mixing system. Taking control of all this power is now easier than ever thanks to the incorporation of RDM, Art-Net and sACN in addition to standard DMX control.

Precision Color and Theatre-Ready Output

With 280 LEDs (60 red, 60 green, 60 blue, 40 amber, 60 lime) and a color temperature range of 2800 K to 6500 K, the Ovation B-2805FC is built for smooth, accurate looks across saturated colors and natural whites. Programming is streamlined with an easy to access Virtual Color Wheel (with color matched to popular Rosco Gel colors) and Color Temperature Presets, helping you match existing rigs or dial in consistent camera-friendly whites quickly.

Section Control and Flexible Programming

Multiple control personalities support complex programming schemes, including up to 10 individually controllable sections for pixel-mapped effects, segmented cues, and more precise stage or scenic coverage. It also includes built-in automated programs for standalone operation when a console is not required.

Controls, Connectivity, and Studio-Friendly Performance

Built to drop into modern networks and traditional DMX runs, the fixture supports Art-Net, sACN, 3- and 5-pin DMX, plus RDM (Remote Device Management) for bidirectional configuration and monitoring. Neutrik powerCON and Amphenol etherCON compatible connections simplify reliable power and data linking on touring and installed systems.

For film and broadcast work, selectable PWM (600 Hz, 1200 Hz, 2000 Hz, 4000 Hz, 25,000 Hz) helps avoid flicker on camera. Nearly silent operation makes it well-suited for studio and theatre environments. Dimming is theatre-ready, with 16-bit dimming of the master dimmer and individual colors, plus four dim modes for different cueing and fade preferences.

Optics for Cyc Lighting and Wall Grazing

Installed 20 degree optics deliver a 25 degree (horizontal) by 20 degree (vertical) beam angle, with a 42 degree (horizontal) by 40 degree (vertical) field angle. For enhanced cyc lighting or wall grazing applications and ultra-smooth color mixing, an included holographic filter easily locks into place.
