Description
Chauvet DJ FXpar 9 is a dynamic, compact multi-effect PAR fixture designed to add color washes, pixel-style effects, and punchy strobe hits to mobile DJ rigs, small stages, and event lighting. It combines an outer ring of RGB+UV LEDs, a center LED, and SMD strobes, each with separate control, so you can build layered looks that read clearly in the room.
Multi-Zone Effects with Independent Control
The FXpar 9 features an outer ring of RGB+UV LEDs for increased color mixing and effects, plus a center RGB COB LED for a distinct, bright core. Separate control of the center LED, outer ring, and SMD strobes makes it easy to create movement and contrast, even when the fixture is used as a single uplight or a compact blinder-style effect.
Mutable zones allow for spectacular effects via DMX, giving you more creative options than a typical single-source PAR. When you want quick results without programming, sound activation and automated programs let you run engaging looks on the fly.
Strobe Ring for Added Impact
An SMD strobe ring adds strobe effects to any setup big or small, with a strobe rate adjustable from 0 to 16.4 Hz. With a 25° beam angle and 45° field angle, the FXpar 9 can deliver a defined punch for effects or a broader spread for wash-style coverage depending on placement.
DMX and Simple Control Options
Choose the level of control that fits your rig with 3, 6, 9, or 23 DMX channels over 3-pin XLR. For convenient access to built-in functions, it is compatible with the optional IRC-6 remote (view accessories).
Power Linking for Faster Setup
Power linking saves time setting up, with linking support up to 7 units at 120 V or 13 units at 230 V. The fixture runs on 100 to 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz (auto-ranging) and draws 80 W, 1.1 A at 120 V, 60 Hz (77 W, 0.6 A at 230 V, 50 Hz).
