The AAdynTech JAB Hurricane Cinema is a high-output, weatherproof LED fixture built for film and broadcast lighting where reliability, color quality, and efficient power use matter. Coupled with high CRI (92+) performance, it delivers an impressive 1,508 fc @ 10 feet while consuming only 1.77 amps at full power. It can also be operated via 28.8 volt DC battery power, making it a practical choice for remote productions, mobile rigs, and locations with limited AC distribution.

Bright, controllable output with a clean field

Designed around a single light source, the JAB Hurricane Cinema provides high optical efficiency with a flat, even illumination field, helping reduce the multiple-shadow effect often seen with multi-emitter fixtures. Quick-change lenses vary the beam angle between spot, medium, and flood while maintaining consistent coverage, so you can adapt quickly to interviews, exterior fill, or punchy key light setups without swapping fixtures.

Flicker-free, silent operation for production sound

Fan-less convection cooling delivers silent operation for sound-sensitive sets, and instant ON ensures no warm-up wait time. The fixture is flicker-free up to 12,000 frames per second, supporting high-speed capture without flicker artifacts.

Built for harsh environments and flexible power

The IP65 rating totally protects the Hurricane from dust and water from any direction, supporting dependable use in rain, dust, and challenging outdoor conditions. It supports auto-range 90 to 240 VAC (50/60Hz) operation, and can run on 48v DC power for hours with a battery source. It is also the same size and uses the same accessories as JAB Hurricane, helping maintain compatibility across existing kits.

Control and professional connectivity

Local onboard control and DMX operation with DMX loop-thru make it easy to integrate into studio grids or location control workflows. Connections include 5-pin XLR DMX In/Out, and an optional IP65 weatherproof UIM Digital Remote is available. With the UIM, the fixture supports programmable lightning and strobe effects, plus multiple user memory storage with recall.

Talent-friendly light and compliance

The JAB Hurricane Cinema operates cool to the touch with no UV or IR emissions on talent. It is rated for operating temperatures from -20c to +50c and is certified UL, ETL, CSA, CE, and RoHS compliant.
