NEW AAdynTech JAB Hurricane Cinema, Kit 3

The NEW AAdynTech JAB Hurricane Cinema, Kit 3 is a weatherproof, high-output LED fixture kit designed for professional film and broadcast lighting, especially on remote productions where power is limited. The JAB Hurricane Cinema pairs 92+ CRI performance with an impressive 1,508 fc @ 10 feet while consuming only 1.77 amps at full power, and it can also be operated via 28.8 volt DC battery power for location work.

High-output daylight LED with consistent color

Built around a single light source, the JAB Hurricane Cinema delivers a flat, even illumination field that helps reduce the multiple-shadow artifacts common with multi-emitter designs. It is set at 5600K CCT, produces no UV or IR emissions on talent, and is designed to maintain consistent color across the entire brightness range with no color shift. Precise brightness control is supported with a variable dimming curve, making it easier to match exposure and maintain repeatable results between setups.

Built for demanding locations, silent by design

With an IP65 rating, the Hurricane is protected from dust and water from any direction, making it a strong choice for exterior shoots and challenging environments. Fan-less convection cooling supports silent operation and the fixture runs cool to the touch with no heat generation, which can be especially helpful when working close to talent or in confined sets. Flicker-free operation up to 12,000 frames per second makes it suitable for high-speed and specialty cinematography.

Fast beam shaping and flexible control

Quick-change lenses let you vary the beam angle between spot, medium, and flood while maintaining optical efficiency and a uniform field. For on-set control, the fixture supports local onboard control and DMX with DMX loop-thru using 5-pin XLR DMX In/Out. It also includes a Douse button (momentary off) for fast cut without changing settings. The optional UIM Digital Remote is IP65 weatherproof and adds programmable lightning and strobe effects, multiple user memory storage, and recall.

Power options and compliance

The Hurricane supports auto-range voltage, 90/240 VAC, 50/60Hz, and can run on 48v DC power for hours with a battery source. It is rated for operating temperatures from -20c to +50c and is certified UL, ETL, CSA, CE, and RoHS compliant. It is the same size and uses the same accessories as JAB Hurricane, supporting compatibility with existing Hurricane workflows and modifiers.
