NEW AAdynTech JAB V2 Variable, Kit 2

The NEW AAdynTech JAB V2 Variable, Kit 2 is a variable color temperature LED fixture kit designed for film, broadcast, and studio work where you need a punchy, controllable single-source light with flexible beam shaping. With an adjustable range of 3,000°K to 6,000°K, it quickly matches common ambient and practical lighting, while delivering 2,100 fc @ 10 feet for strong key, fill, or accent applications.

Output and Color Control for Real-World Sets

The JAB V2 Variable provides precise brightness control with no color shift, plus an accurate color temperature readout on the built-in UIM digital controller for fast, repeatable setup. Optical efficiency provides a single light source eliminating multiple shadows, which helps maintain clean edges and consistent shadow behavior for interviews, tabletop, and product work.

Power Options and On-Set Efficiency

At full output, the Variable draws only 1.78 amp and uses an auto-ranging universal power supply (100/277 VAC, 50/60Hz), simplifying deployment across stages, trucks, and locations without a ballast, head cables, or lamps. It can also be operated at 28.8v DC battery power in situations where conventional A/C supply is problematic or non-existent. Like all AAdynTech fixtures, the Variable generates no heat or harmful UV or IR emissions, is self-contained with an auto-ranging universal power supply requiring no ballast, head cables or lamps, and instant ON ensures no warm-up wait time on set.

Beam Shaping, Effects, and Control Integration

This kit includes multiple diffuser lenses (5, 15, 30, and 55 degrees) to vary beam angle for anything from tighter throws to broader coverage, plus a barndoor for quick spill control. For rigging and control workflows, the fixture supports full DMX control with DMX loop-thru via 5-pin XLR DMX In/Out, along with programmable multiple lightning and strobe effects, multiple user memory storage with recall, and a Douse button (momentary off) for fast, silent blackouts.

Built for Professional Use

A heavy-duty yoke is provided, and the fixture is rated for operation from -20c to +50c. It also includes a recalibration countdown hour ‘smart’ meter for maintenance planning. The JAB V2 Variable is certified UL, ETL, CSA, CE & RoHS compliant.
