Vesuvio II illuminates bursts of fog with advanced RGBA+UV LED color mixing, providing ferocious effects for events and performances.

High-Impact Fog Output for Big Looks

With 40,000 cfm output, the Vesuvio II is built to fill large spaces quickly and create dense, readable beams for lighting and video moments. It also supports 40 seconds of continuous full-burst output, giving you longer hit effects without needing to immediately recycle, which is especially useful for musical accents, reveals, and scene transitions.

RGBA+UV LED Color Mixing with Dual LED Sections

Its integrated LED engine uses red, green, blue, amber, and UV (RGBA/UV) color mixing to paint the fog in a wide range of tones, including deep ambers and ultraviolet-enhanced looks. New dual LED sections give greater creative control for a more even coverage of light, helping the fog read consistently across the plume. The light source is 10 LEDs (RGBA/UV) 8.5 W, (3 A), with a 50,000-hour life expectancy. Output is rated at 199.5 lux @ 5 m (center), 154 lux @ 5 m (linear), and 334 lux @ 5 m (both).

Production Control and Reliable Connectivity

Vesuvio II supports DMX control for straightforward integration into lighting and effects rigs, with 15 DMX channels and on-board control when you need quick local setup. It includes both 3-pin and 5-pin DMX input/output connections to match common professional cabling. Electronic dimming and shutter/strobe are onboard, with a strobe range of 0 to 20 Hz, and a PWM frequency of 126 Hz.

Efficient Fluid Use and Flexible Rigging

The built-in 2.5 l (0.7 gal) tank supports longer operation, while the unit is designed for efficiency with fluid consumption of 80 ml/min of QDL fluid. This highly versatile unit can run in three different positions: vertically, horizontally or from overhead with mounting brackets. It works best with the Chauvet HDF high-density and QDF quick dissipating fluid.
