The feature-packed Martin MAC Encore Wash WRM soft edge moving head offers unparalleled 3000 K warm tungsten emulation. It truly challenges the output quality of a real incandescent light source, and doubles as a modern replacement for generic fixtures like tungsten based Fresnel fixtures, with the additional benefit of color mixing and movement.
Warm tungsten look with camera-ready performance
Built around a pure white LED engine, the MAC Encore Wash WRM delivers a consistent 3000 K CCT with no color temperature variation during zoom and dimming, helping cues stay visually uniform across the stage. Flicker-free operation and a driver frequency suitable for camera applications make it a strong choice for broadcast, IMAG, and recorded content.
Fresnel-style wash with precise beam shaping
A Fresnel lens provides a 1:4 zoom that is precise, silent, and fast, while the fully electronic dimmer and shutter offer multiple dimming curves plus tungsten red-shift emulation for natural-looking fades. For tighter control, an internal barndoor system includes two shutter blades that can overlap for full blackout, plus rotation of +/- 100 degrees for repeatable, accurate framing. A precise iris supports adjustable dynamic effects.
Color mixing, filters, and built-in effects
Vibrant CMY color mixing produces colors ranging from rich, saturated primaries to smooth pastel shades. Variable CTB enables tungsten-to-daylight CCT control and expands the CMY palette while staying true to the black body curve. For quick color choices and consistent matches, a color wheel includes 6 interchangeable dichroic filters plus open. The Animotion FX System adds internal dimming effect macros for mid-air and projection effects.
Quiet operation and accurate movement
Whisper-silent cooling combines convection and forced air, with user-selectable output vs. sound level control to balance performance and noise on set or in theatre. Super precise and silent pan/tilt movement and positioning are driven by 3-phase stepper motor technology with absolute position monitoring for reliable cue repeatability.
