NEW Hive Lighting Wasp 100-C Adjustable Fresnel Omni-Color LED

The NEW Hive Lighting Wasp 100-C Adjustable Fresnel Omni-Color LED is Hive Lighting's first LED, designed for filmmakers and photographers who need flexible, color-accurate lighting in a compact Fresnel form. Using only 100 Watts it has the output of a 650 Watt incandescent and features Hive's Perfect S.H.O.T. system for complete output and color control.  The Wasp 100-C has a 98 CRI, 97 TLCI. It can run off battery (not included) or universal wall power, weigh only 5 lbs, and works with hundreds of accessories.

Color Control for Mixed Lighting

Dial in looks quickly with 360 degree hue control, 0 to 100% saturation, and smooth 0 to 100% dimming. The variable 1,650K to 8,000K color temperature range helps match practicals, daylight, and existing fixtures without relying on gels, useful for interviews, product shots, and location work where lighting conditions change throughout the day.

Fresnel Beam Shaping and Accessory Support

The adjustable Fresnel design gives you control over beam character and spill, making it easy to move from a tighter, more focused source to a broader wash as your scene changes. The compact body (7.5 in / 190 mm length, 4 in / 100 mm diameter) and 5 in (127 mm) reflector face make it a practical choice for small studios, tight sets, and travel kits.

Power and Control Options

For studio or on-location workflows, the Wasp 100-C supports manual, DMX, and smartphone control. Power the light from 100 to 240 VAC via the included power supply, or from 12 to 28 VDC using a 4-Pin XLR input for battery-based rigs (battery not included).

High Color Accuracy in a Lightweight Build

With a 98 CRI and 97 TLCI, the Wasp 100-C is built to render skin tones and product colors reliably on camera, minimizing time spent correcting color in post. At 5 lbs (2.3 kg), it is easy to mount, reposition, and incorporate into compact grip setups.
