NEW Mega-Lite Circa Scoop LED

Mega-lite presents the unique Circa Scoop LED, a multi-element LED wash and effects fixture designed to add a distinctive, layered look to concerts, churches, theaters, and clubs. Built with a lightweight housing, the Circa combines four independently controllable lighting elements in one unit, making it well-suited for theatrical warmth, soft fill, and animated pixel-style eye-candy effects.

Four Lighting Elements for Warmth, Wash, and Pixel Effects

Equipped with 45 Warm White and Amber LEDs located in the unit’s Center Engine, it enables the unit to create a nice and warm sunset effect, ideal for theatrical utilization. The “Reflective Pattern Ring” adds an additional 87 Warm White LEDs to create a soft-edged look that blends smoothly across scenery, cyc, or architectural surfaces.

For color and movement, the Circa features an Inner Ring with 144 RGB LEDs, 8 segment control, plus macro speed control and the ability to dim colors independently for a wide range of mixes. The Outer Ring also offers 8 segments and uses 192 RGB LEDs with a 140° angle to illuminate a broad area. Together, the 336 RGB LEDs can create multiple color combinations and authentic looks that work as dynamic eye-candy accents. In addition, the RGB LEDs also produce a bright cool white, allowing it to alter the mood and intensify or neutralize a color. The Inner and Outer Rings can generate pulsing random strobe and macro effects, giving the Circa Scoop further diversity within one single unit.

Control, Connectivity, and Rigging

The Circa Scoop LED runs on DMX 512 and uses 5-pin XLR connectors for straightforward integration into standard lighting networks. Power is handled via a Power Con type connector, and the fixture uses an electronic auto switching ballast with 110V-240V, 50/60 Hz input for flexible deployment across venues.

For installation, it features a square mounting yoke and a quick release clamp mount for efficient hanging and focusing.
