Followspot Control, Built for Modern Productions

The T1 Profile FS is full of theatrical subtlety, designed to support the nuanced cueing and repeatability demanded in theatre, broadcast, and touring environments. It combines CMY colour control with DataSwatch filters (a selection of pre-programmed colours via the RCC (Robe Colour Calibration) algorithm) and a wide ranging 2700K to 8000K CCT control, so you can move quickly from calibrated whites to saturated looks while keeping colour consistency show to show.

Colour Accuracy and Natural Skin Tones

With a high colour rendition (CRI 95, CRI R9 91, TM30-18 Rf 93, TM30-18 Rg 103, TLCI 94), the fixture is tuned for camera-friendly output and realistic skin tones. The adjustable CRI function (80 to 95+) and plus/minus green correction provide additional control for balancing to other fixtures, LED walls, or on-camera requirements.

Camera-Ready Dimming and Flicker Management

The precise needs of theatrical dimming are catered to with Robe’s super smooth L3 (Low Light Linearity) 18-bit dimming for an ultra-smooth fade to black. For television work, Cpulse special flicker-free management is included for all vision systems such as HD and UHD cameras, ready for 8K and 16K, helping maintain stable output on high-speed and high-resolution shoots.

Optics, Beam Shaping, and Texture Tools

Robe’s proprietary optical design and high-efficiency zoom optical system (7:1) deliver a versatile 7° to 49° zoom range that covers favoured field angles of most theatre and TV lights. For shaping and texture, you get a crisp framing shutter system with a patented framing shutters module (4 individually positionable blades plus rotation of the complete frame system, plus/minus 60°), plus a rotating gobo wheel with 7 rotating, indexable, replaceable breakup and aerial gobos (plus open). An aluminium animation wheel, 6-facet 8° rotating prism, and a motorized iris (with pulse effects up to 3 Hz) expand your options for aerial looks and scenic projection.

Output, Engine, and Reliability

The MSL 550 W Multi-Spectral LED engine produces up to 10,075 lm fixture total output, with typical lumen maintenance rated L70/B50 at 40,000 hours and LED life expectancy of minimum 40,000 hours. Factory calibrated whites and colours via the new RCC system support automatic or on-call self-recalibration of the LED engine without the use of any external tool. AirLOC (Less Optical Cleaning) technology is designed to reduce airborne particles drawn over optical elements, helping maintain performance and extend time between routine cleaning and maintenance.

Quiet Operation and Precise Movement

Extremely quiet operation makes the fixture suitable for all types of production in theatre and TV. Movement features include 540° pan and 265° tilt, standard and speed movement control, automatic pan/tilt position correction, and an EMS Electronic Motion Stabilizer system for pan and tilt that reduces beam deviation caused by truss movement or vibration.

Additional Creative and Practical Controls

Two variable frosts (very light 0.5° for instant softening of projected gobos or shutters, and medium 10° for even wash) help you quickly transition from sharp, cut light to softer coverage. The fixture also includes electronic strobe effects with variable speed up to 20 Hz, pre-programmed random strobe and pulse effects, motorized zoom and focus, and a tungsten lamp effect with emulation options (750W, 1,000W, 1,200W, 2,000W, 2,500W) for whites from 2,700K to 4,200K (red shift and thermal delay). An optional hot-spot control is available, from flat field to 6:1 hot-spot.
