NEW Chauvet Professional COLORado Solo Batten

Chauvet Professional COLORado Solo Batten is a powerful one-of-a-kind RGBAW LED batten designed to project a single, homogenized wash with smooth color-mixing, giving it the appearance of a bright single bar of light without round “eyes” or visible pixels. It complements the COLORado Solo pars perfectly, making it an easy fit for matching looks across a rig in touring, live event, television, and theatrical productions.

Seamless wash, plus pixel-mapped creativity

This very versatile fixture is engineered with 12 square sections that can be controlled individually, appear seamlessly together without separation, and create an endless variety of color control and pixel mapping effects. Because the output is fully homogenized, the beam stays clean and consistent across the lens (no color separation and no dimmed lens corners), which is especially useful for close-range scenic light, wall grazing, and camera-friendly applications where uneven “hot spots” can be distracting.

Built for outdoor and production environments

COLORado Solo Batten is IP65 rated for all-environment operation and uses IP-rated power, DMX, and Ethernet connections. It supports DMX and RDM protocols for straightforward integration, remote addressing, and status monitoring in larger systems.

Color control and on-camera performance

For repeatable whites and fast programming, the fixture includes color temperature presets from 1800 to 8000 K, along with selectable, smooth dimming curves for programming versatility. You can tailor on-camera performance using selectable PWM options (600 Hz to 25,000 Hz), and add motion-free impact with electronic shutter and strobe effects (0 to 25 Hz).

Optics and output

The batten uses 144 3 W LEDs (24 red, 24 green, 24 blue, 24 amber, 48 white) with an 18° installed optic for a punchy, controlled beam. Output is rated at 6,968 lumens, delivering 3,870 lux at 5 m (1,230 lux at 5 m with the included wall washing filter). Beam and field angles are 20° x 16° (beam) and 34° x 29° (field), with the filter expanding coverage to 37° x 15° (beam) and 63° x 30° (field) for wider wall-wash applications.

Tour-ready construction and usability

Housed in black, aluminum die-cast construction, COLORado Solo Batten is built for the demands of the road while remaining practical to deploy. A large, easy-to-navigate display with password protection supports quick setup and prevents accidental changes. The fixture measures 39.86 x 9.06 x 9.84 in (1012.5 x 230 x 249.8 mm), weighs 41.9 lb (19 kg), and accepts an accessory holder/gel frame size of 38.75 x 3.81 in (984.25 x 97 mm).
