The MA Lighting grandMA3 Replay Unit delivers the same features and functions as the grandMA3 consoles in a 19-inch rackmount housing, making it easy to integrate into equipment racks. It is an ideal choice for fixed installations such as theatre, studio, or architectural lighting control, and it also works well as a backup solution within a grandMA3 system.

Built for Reliable Playback Control

The grandMA3 replay unit is a very safe playback/master controller, because there are no built-in faders or buttons to avoid faulty operations. Instead, the unit is operated by using the integrated touch screen or a mouse and keyboard connected via USB. This control approach supports clean, consistent operation in permanent installs, control rooms, and mission-critical environments where unintended physical input can be a concern.

Connectivity for Install and Networked Workflows

A wide range of interfaces assures flexible use and strong performance within architectural systems. The unit provides 6 DMX outputs and 1 DMX input, along with 3 etherCON connectors, 5 USB connectors, and support for two external multi-touch screens in addition to its internal multi-touch command screen. For larger grandMA3 setups, it supports real-time control for up to 250,000 parameters per session when used in connection with grandMA3 processing units.

Parameters and Software Compatibility

It offers 4,096 parameters (HTP/LTP) in both Parameters mode and Mode2, and it is compatible with grandMA2 and grandMA3 software.
