The NEW Green Hippo Hippotizer Mayon+ MK2 is a 2RU Hippotizer V4 & V4+ media server designed for reliable real-time playback and flexible show control in space-conscious racks. With two production outputs and Hippotizer’s mature mapping and media tools, it is well suited for corporate events, touring side stages, museums, retail experiences, and multi-display installations that need a straightforward HDMI-based workflow.

Playback and media workflow

Every unit includes an integrated media management system for fast ingest and organization, along with the built-in FlexRes Codec family for efficient playback within the Hippotizer ecosystem. Real-time control lets you adjust key playback attributes live, which is useful for cue-driven show operation and responsive installation content.

Output configuration, mapping, and pixel control

Hippotizer’s output management supports flexible system configuration, including output mapping for unconventional screen layouts. For advanced visual deployment, SHAPE 3D Mapping provides a complete 3D projection mapping tool set, and PixelMapper supports mapping many thousand light points for LED pixels and fixture arrays. This model supports up to 12 mixes with 16 layers per mix and unlimited viewports, making it easier to build multiple looks or destinations within a single project.

Connectivity and integration

For multi-server control, HippoNet allows control of multiple units from a single ZooKeeper. Connectivity includes dual 1Gb network ports, balanced stereo XLR audio output, stereo 1/8” TRS audio input, and LTC over audio input for timecode-based synchronization. USB connectivity includes 4 rear USB3 Type-A ports plus 2 front USB 3.1 Type-A ports for convenient access during setup and maintenance.
