The Strand Acclaim LED Fresnel is a full color theatrical Fresnel wash fixture designed specifically for small to medium spaces. The Acclaim has set the standard in 500W/650W lighting for a generation, and this new LED version offers saturated stage color washes and dramatic highlighting capabilities thanks to the high quality, industry standard 4.75” front lens coupled with the engineering excellence that has set Strand apart for over a century.

True Fresnel Control for Clean, Blendable Washes

A true theatrical Fresnel, the Acclaim LED Fresnel offers superior control and light quality to comparable PAR fixtures. The adjustable 10° to 50° zoom provides manual adjustment with minimal light scatter, and the even, soft-edged beam easily blends with adjacent fixtures without hard edges to soften with frost filters or hot spots to smooth out in the beam.

Color Mixing and Output for Stage and Event Lighting

Built around a multichromatic RGBL light engine, the Acclaim LED Fresnel is designed to produce saturated color washes while retaining the smooth, flattering quality Fresnels are known for. With 150 W maximum power consumption, it delivers 4,500 beam lumens (8,500 field lumens) for general wash, specials, and dramatic highlighting in theaters, houses of worship, and multipurpose venues.

Camera-Friendly Dimming and Effects

Electronic dimming supports 8-bit or 16-bit control for either simple operation or finer fades, with selectable dimmer curves (Square Law default, Linear, and S-Curve) to better match your console workflow and preferred look. A selectable Tungsten Fade option helps emulate incandescent-style fade behavior when desired. For accenting cues and looks, electronic strobe offers 0 to 30 Hz operation with Standard, Lightening, and Random modes, and a selectable LED refresh rate from 500 Hz to 4000 Hz supports flicker-conscious applications.

Touring-Ready Build and Practical Form Factor

The fixture combines machined aluminum, sheet metal, and molded engineering grade plastic components in a standard black finish. It measures 190 x 253 x 353 mm (7.5 x 10.0 x 13.8 in), or 356 x 251 x 353 mm (14.0 x 9.8 x 13.8 in) with yoke, and weighs 5.8 kg (12.8 lb) for straightforward rigging in fixed installs or portable systems. The 125 mm (5 in) lens maintains the familiar Fresnel appearance and beam quality designers expect.
