COLORado PXL Bar 16 is a motorized, outdoor-ready tilting batten with capabilities to zoom for tight and wide pixel-mappable looks. This bright, moving pixel bar also features seamless edge-to-edge mounting and includes virtual gobo and movement macros with separate foreground and background color control for more design options than ever before. Slotted Omega brackets make it quick and easy to hang the fixture on truss. The COLORado PXL Bar 16 can also be positioned on the ground, which allows for a variety of different light angles.

Outdoor-Ready Pixel Batten with Motorized Tilt and Zoom

Built for demanding touring, permanent installation, and event environments, the COLORado PXL Bar 16 combines an IP65-rated housing with 200° motorized tilt and a wide 5.8° to 47.9° zoom range. This gives you the flexibility to shift quickly from narrow, punchy beams to broader washes, while maintaining a consistent pixel pitch between fixtures for clean multi-unit arrays.

Pixel Mapping and Built-In Looks

With (16) 45 W RGBW LEDs and full pixel mapping, this fixture is designed for eye-candy effects, layered chases, and segmented color looks. Built-in effects such as virtual gobos and movement macros, plus separate foreground and background color control, make it easier to create pixel animation-style looks even when you are programming under time pressure.

Control and Integration

The COLORado PXL Bar 16 supports DMX as well as network protocols (sACN, Art-Net, and Kling-Net) for flexible integration into modern lighting systems, from console-driven rigs to media-server style pixel workflows. RDM support helps simplify addressing and remote troubleshooting in larger deployments.

Performance Details for Live and Broadcast Use

Output and optics are optimized for both impact and control, with measured performance including 8,959 lumens (43.3°) and illuminance up to 27,415 lux @ 5 m (5.7°). Selectable PWM (600 Hz to 15,000 Hz) supports a wide range of camera requirements, and the electronic dimmer and shutter/strobe (0 to 20 Hz) provide smooth fades and crisp effects.

Mounting and Rugged Connectivity

For fast rigging and dependable outdoor operation, the fixture includes slotted Omega bracket mounting points, TRUE1-compatible power input/output, and IP65-rated 5-pin DMX and TCP/IP input/output ports, plus an IP65-rated USB-C port for software updates. The housing measures 39.37 x 5.47 x 10.75 in (1000 x 139 x 273 mm) and weighs 45.6 lb (20.7 kg), with a black exterior finish suitable for stage and architectural environments.
