Compact LED panels built for fast setups

The Dracast X Series is the newest compact LED panel light from Dracast. Weighing just 3.0 lbs, the X Series is designed with portability in mind while still providing a consistent, controllable beam for key, fill, or hair light placements. Each panel features an 8 x 8 in (203mm x 203mm) light aperture with a 45 degree beam angle to help you shape coverage for tight spaces, talking-head shots, and product setups.

Bi-color control for mixed lighting

The X Series features adjustable white color temperature from 3200K to 5600K CCT, making it easier to match common indoor tungsten sources or daylight-balanced environments without gels. With 96+ CRI color rendition and 0% to 100% continuous dimming, you can fine-tune output and color to maintain natural-looking skin tones and consistent exposure across multiple shots.

Flexible mounting and aiming

The panel includes an installed mounting yoke with a 5/8" baby pin receiver for fast and easy mounting on compatible light stands or C clamps. The aluminum yoke uses dual locking tilt control and supports a +/- 180 degree tilt angle for precise positioning, whether you are shooting from a low stand, booming overhead, or working in tight corners.

On-board controls and DRX app operation

The light can be adjust manually via the control panel on the back of the fixture, or by using the new free Dracast DRX companion app available for iOS and Android smartphones and tablets. Using the DRX companion app, all of the features of the light can be easily controlled along with the added ability to control multiple X Series lights simultaneously. The X Series also supports group master / slave control, which is helpful when you want consistent adjustments across a multi-light setup without walking to each fixture.

Power options for studio or location

Each light runs on 12 V DC with 35W power consumption and connects via a barrel connector. An AC adapter supports 100 to 240 VAC, 50 to 60 Hz, 4.0 A for convenient use in studios or while traveling. For cable-free shooting, the included dual NP-F battery plate supports two 7.4V batteries and is designed to deliver 100% of total output on battery power.

Built for production life

The housing combines aluminum and plastic construction with an anodized blue/black finish, and the LED engine uses a 256-chip (16 x 16) SMD array. With an estimated 50,000-hour LED lifetime, the X Series is designed for repeated shoots, frequent packing, and regular on-set adjustments.
