The GLP impression X5 IP Bar is an IP65-rated linear LED batten built for high-impact stage, event, and architectural wash applications where reliability and consistent color matter. With 18 powerful 40 W RGBL LEDs, a wide 4.5° to 60° zoom range, and the GLP iQ.Gamut color calibration algorithm, it delivers clean, controllable output with accurate whites and strong color rendering across mixed rigs and camera environments.

Optics and output for tight beams to smooth washes

The squared lens design (18x 48x48 mm) is engineered for maximum lumen efficiency, producing an unusually even, curtain-like field at its narrowest 4.5° setting and maintaining smooth, homogenous coverage out to a broad 60° wash. With high output rated at 7,500 lm and super fast zoom mechanics, it is well suited for fast cueing, quick angle changes, and adapting to different trim heights without swapping fixtures.

Color tools tuned for real-world production

As part of the GLP X5 family, the impression X5 IP Bar offers a wide feature package designed to speed programming and keep color consistent show to show. It includes selectable calibrated white points, variable CTC (2,500 to 10,000 K), magenta/green correction, a tungsten simulation channel, and a virtual color wheel with 64 LEE referenced colors. Color mixing is available in RGB, RGBL, and x;y, with layer priority settings to help maintain the look you intend when combining multiple color and effect layers. For balancing punch versus fidelity, CQC (Color Quality Control) offers High Output (HO), High Quality (HQ), and Desaturation modes.

Effects, dimming, and movement for dynamic pixel looks

For creative looks beyond static washes, the fixture includes a shutter with strobe, pulse, sparkle, and related behaviors, plus 50 dynamic pattern macros with special effects. Dimming is 0 to 100% with 16-bit control for smooth fades, and tilt provides 195° movement with 16-bit resolution. GLP’s patented fast tilt movement, combined with seamless pixel pitch across fixtures, supports clean linear arrays and coherent pixel-mapped looks across multiple units.

Built for demanding indoor and outdoor environments

With its IP65 enclosure, the impression X5 IP Bar is designed to withstand outdoor conditions and is equally suitable for indoor stages where protection against confetti, fog, pyro, and dust is a practical advantage. The fixture supports wired and wireless control as standard, and provides selectable LED refresh rate options (Low, Optimal (Default), High 1, High 2, Max) to better align with different camera and production requirements.
