At home on the largest of shows, the ChamSys MagicQ MQ500M+ Stadium Console is built for concert touring, broadcast, live events, theatre, and large venue installations where fast programming, reliable networking, and extensive output capacity matter. It supports 400 universes direct from the console without the need for external processing, delivered over Art-Net, sACN, or Pathport, plus four direct DMX outputs for straightforward integration with existing rigs.

Playback Control for Live Programming

MQ500M+ features RGB-illuminated faders and encoder playbacks designed for clear visual status at a glance in dark environments. You get 15 fully-motorised fader playbacks, 15 encoder playbacks, and 12 backlit multi-purpose Macro/Execute/Playback/Palette keys, for a total of 42 playbacks. For theatre-style operation, it includes dual motorised 100 mm split crossfaders and a dedicated intensity wheel.

Dual Touchscreens and Expandable Workspace

For a more intuitive workflow, MQ500M+ includes dual HD resolution multi-touch 15-inch displays with adjustable viewing angles and multi-touch gesture support. When you need more screen space, the console adds two DisplayPort++ external monitor ports for expanding your programming and monitoring layout. The system can support up to eight touch displays total (2 internal, 2 external, plus 4 via remote network), making it easier to scale from pre-viz to on-site operation.

Networking, Remote Focus, and System Integration

Built for modern show networks, MQ500M+ includes inbuilt Wi-Fi for connection of the Remote Focus application and an inbuilt 4-port Gigabit network switch, helping streamline console-to-node, console-to-server, and multi-device setups without extra hardware. It also provides MIDI in/out and LTC timecode in/out for synchronization with external control and playback systems.

Pre-Programming and On-Site Efficiency

MQ500M+ Stadium has inbuilt MagicVis 3D visualiser with high quality beam and gobo rendering, enabling you to pre-program shows offline and save time onsite. For additional control, connect a MagicQ MQ500M Stadium Wing and get even more playbacks and another touchscreen display as well. Audio in/out is provided on the rear panel, along with a power output (Neutrik powerCON TRUE1) for the Stadium Wing.

Power and Touring-Ready Details

Designed for demanding environments, MQ500M+ includes an inbuilt UPS that uses a 12V lead-acid battery. Power input is via Neutrik powerCON TRUE1 (110 to 240 VAC). The console also includes two front storage pockets and six USB ports (including two high-power USBs) for accessories and peripherals.
