The ADJ 5PX Hex is a versatile LED Par fixture with 5 x 12-Watt, 6-IN-1 HEX LEDs. Now with locking power In/Out connections, plus 3-pin and 5-pin DMX In/Out. 

Designed for stages, truss, and floor uplighting

Its intelligently designed, patent pending power and DMX In/Outs sit sideways, so the unit can be set flat on the ground for uplighting, or placed inside truss without cable strain. The scissor yoke and rubber feet support both hanging and floor applications, making it a strong choice for architectural wall wash, mobile DJs, and performance stages where traditional stage lighting can emit significant heat onto performers.

Smooth HEX color mixing with flicker-free output

The 5PX HEX uses an RGBAW + UV LED engine (Red, Green, Blue, Amber, White and UV) for smooth color mixing and access to 63 built-in color macros. Flicker Free operation helps avoid flickering on camera, and electronic dimming from 0 to 100% supports clean fades for live events and video. Built-in effects include LED pulse and strobe, along with 7 built-in programs.

Control options and DMX connectivity

Choose from five operational modes, including Static Color Mode, RGBAW and UV Dimmer Mode, Program Mode, Sound Active Mode, and DMX Controlled. A 4-button DMX digital display on the rear panel provides quick setup, while multiple channel personalities support different console workflows. The fixture offers 4 DMX Modes (6, 7, 8 and 12 channel) and is data linkable via 3-pin or 5-pin DMX connections. It is also compatible with the Dotz Par RF wireless remote control (sold separately).

Power linking, build, and key specifications

Daisy chain power from the locking power In/Out connections and link up to 11 fixtures (multi-voltage AC 100-240V, 50/60Hz). The all metal black exterior housing is built for event use. Beam angle is 25-degree, LED life is rated at approximately 50,000 hrs., and dimming behavior can be tailored using 5 selectable dim curves (Standard, Stage, TV, Architectural and Theatre).
