NEW Ayrton Perseo Beam

The NEW Ayrton Perseo Beam is a compact, waterproof, multi-function LED moving-head beam luminaire built for high-impact aerial effects indoors or outdoors. Designed around an ultra-intensive 2° beam and a 21:1 zoom, it delivers everything from tight, long-throw shafts to wider beam looks, while supporting fast, precise movement with infinite pan rotation and 263° tilt for complex, repeatable sweeps.

Beam optics and outdoor-ready performance

PERSEO BEAM is equipped with a proprietary 13-lens optical system and a 168 mm frontal lens, producing a zoom range of 2° to 42° with fast motorised linear zoom. Tempered, anti-reflective coated lenses help maximize efficiency and clarity. The ultra-compact 450 W monochromatic LED emitter specially developed for long-distance applications can obtain a luminous flux of 18,000 lumens at a colour temperature of 6800 K operating at a steady state (integrating sphere measurement, Fan mode AUTO). The luminaire was designed and developed to operate in the most extreme conditions and resist hot or cold temperatures, rain, sand, dust.

Gobos, prisms, and graphic effects for volumetric looks

PERSEO BEAM offers unprecedented graphic capability with 48 fixed and rotating gobos distributed on two wheels, including 28 glass gobos for the projection of high-definition images and 20 metal gobos created to sculpt light in beam mode. Gobos can be blended with four individually combinable rotating prisms to build layered, volumetric effects. An RGB/CMY multi-layer gobo lets you generate dynamic multicolour effects, and an effect-wheel with continuous rotation in both directions plus two frost filters completes the tool palette.

Advanced color tools for live events and broadcast

The highly innovative colour section includes a CMY colour mixing system, progressive linear CTO, and an instant-access multi-position colour wheel supplied with four colour-temperature correction filters. It also includes 13 complementary-colour filters arranged on two concentric circles (patent pending), enabling fast, repeatable color looks alongside smooth mixing. Flicker-free source management makes it suitable for TV applications and all video-recorded events.

Precision motion and fixture specifications

High-resolution stepper motors operated via microprocessors support extremely accurate positioning and smooth movement, with moving-head operation via 8- or 16-bit resolution, automatic repositioning, and pan/tilt control optimized for tight beam choreography. Rated life (L70) is up to 40,000 hours, CRI is greater than 70, and colour temperature output is 6800 K. Product dimensions are 490 x 710 x 330 mm (l x h x d), and product weight is 41.5 kg.
