NEW Elation Proteus Rayzor Blade L

The NEW Elation Proteus Rayzor Blade L is a compact IP65 linear fixture that combines linear wash, high-intensity strobe lines, and SparkLED FX in a single outdoor-ready design. Built for flexible placement indoors or outdoors, it gives lighting designers precise control of saturated color, pixel-mapped looks, and powerful strobe effects from one unit, even in dust- and water-exposed environments. Protected from dust and water ingress, the Rayzor Blade L is part of Elation’s industry leading Proteus Range of outdoor luminaires.

Linear Wash Output with Wide, Motorized Zoom

Driven by 12 independently controlled 60W RGBW LEDs (720W total), the PROTEUS RAYZOR BLADE L delivers over 11,000 lumens with a wide motorized zoom range of 6° to 45°. In practice, that means you can move from tight, well-defined mid-air beams and light curtains to an exceptionally wide, even wash for stage coverage, scenic lighting, or audience-facing looks. With 16-bit dimming, variable dimming curves, and electronic strobe, fades and intensity changes can be dialed in to match camera, broadcast, or live-show requirements.

Patented SparkLED Lens FX for Layered Looks

This fixture features Elation’s unique patented SparkLED system and allows impactful Tilt sweep motions. The oversized front lenses create a large visual surface that’s enhanced by 48 high-brightness white SparkLED pixels, positioned inside the lens to add an additional layer of texture and depth. SparkLEDs can be controlled directly from the lighting console or driven by built-in FX patterns, making it easy to build dynamic pixel looks without adding separate fixtures.

Dual High-Intensity Strobe Lines with Pixel Control

In addition to its wash and SparkLED effects, the PROTEUS RAYZOR BLADE L provides two seamless high-intensity strobe lines made up of 256 cool white LED dots (128 pixels per side). Running the full length of the fixture, these dual strobe arrays support integrated effects or precise pixel control from the console, ideal for chases, accents, and high-impact moments that read clearly from long distances.

Control, Networking, and Outdoor-Ready Connectivity

For integration into modern lighting systems, the fixture supports DMX and RDM along with IP-rated data and power connections, including IP65 5-pin XLR DMX In/Out and IP65 RJ45 Ethernet In/Out (Art-Net, sACN). Six DMX channel modes (28/76/140/108/120/188 channels) let you choose between simpler operation and full pixel-mapped control of wash, SparkLED, and strobe LEDs. A full-color 180° reversible LCD menu and six-button touch panel simplify setup and addressing, while DMX adjustable refresh rate (900 to 25000 Hz) helps tune performance for different environments.

Color Tools and Movement for Creative Coverage

RGBW color mixing, color presets and macros, and linear color temperature presets (2700 to 8000K) make it easy to match other fixtures or quickly shift the mood on stage. The unit also supports impactful sweep effects with a 192° tilt range, useful for creating moving light curtains and dynamic audience or architectural sweeps.
