The Elation PROTEUS RAYZOR BLADE S is a compact IP65 linear fixture that combines Linear Wash output, high-intensity Strobe Lines, and SparkLED FX in one outdoor-ready unit. Designed for both indoor and outdoor rigs, it gives lighting designers flexible placement options while staying protected against dust and water ingress as part of Elation’s Proteus Range of outdoor luminaires. 

Wash, Beam, and Wide Coverage from One Fixture

With a motorized zoom range of 6° to 45°, the Rayzor Blade S can shift from tight, well-defined mid-air beams and light curtains to an exceptionally wide, even wash for stage coverage or audience-facing looks. Output is rated at over 6,600 lumens, and the fixture delivers over 6,000 lumens from its RGBW engine, making it a practical choice for stage washes, mid-air effects, and blinder-style applications, even in adverse outdoor conditions. 

Pixel-Level Control with RGBW and SparkLED Effects

Driven by (6) independently controlled 60W RGBW LEDs (360W total), the PROTEUS RAYZOR BLADE S supports RGBW color mixing and pixel control for dynamic chases, segmented looks, and precise console programming. The oversized front lenses create a strong visual surface that is enhanced by Elation’s patented SparkLED system, with dedicated high-brightness white pixels inside the lenses for a distinctive internal lens-illumination effect. SparkLEDs can be controlled from the lighting console or run from built-in FX patterns, adding depth and visual texture beyond the main wash output. 

Dual Strobe Lines for High-Impact Looks

For punchy accents and fast strobe effects, the fixture includes two seamless, high-intensity cool white strobe lines totaling 128 LED dots. Positioned along the full length of the unit, these dual arrays support integrated FX and precise pixel control for clean linear hits, rhythmic movement, and bold on-camera looks. 

Control, Networking, and Outdoor-Ready Connectivity

The Rayzor Blade S offers six DMX channel modes (28/50/66/72/82/106 channels) and RDM support, letting you scale from streamlined operation to full pixel mapping. It includes a full-color, 180° reversible LCD menu display and a 6-button touch panel for quick local setup. For modern system integration, the fixture provides IP65-rated 5-pin XLR DMX in/out and IP65 RJ45 Ethernet in/out for Art-Net and sACN, plus a DMX-adjustable refresh rate (900 to 25,000 Hz) for flicker-sensitive environments.
