Built for Portable Rigging and Everyday Handling

The FreeStyle Air Max arrives ready to take its place as a lightweight accessory that integrates seamlessly with existing FreeStyle systems. In addition to a twist-on mount for light stands, and corner bumpers for 4-point hangs, the FreeStyle Air Max comes with eyelets to simplify overhead and other surface attachment. Its rigid construction prevents any flex when handling and safeguards the integrity of its components.

Stable Output and Proven Color Science

Usable LED life is extended with a proven passively-cooled design that ensures color and luminosity remain stable over the rated life of the LEDs. For color-critical work, it supports high color fidelity (TLCI >96, CRI >96, TM-30-18 Rf=95, Rg=103) and maintains consistent color while dimming, with light levels that do not change when selecting Kelvin settings.

Advanced Color Control and Effects Options

Dial in looks quickly with Kelvin presets, adjustable color temperature from 2500K to 9900K, and Green/Magenta control for balancing mixed sources. Fine-tuning tools include Hue angle and Saturation adjustments, Kino Flo presets and gels, RGB control, CIE xy, FX control, camera profiles (LUTs), and selectable color space. It also works with apps that offer predetermined RGB presets or color wheels, and you can use preset buttons to store custom Kelvin settings.

Power, Dimming, and DMX Integration

The FreeStyle Air Max supports universal input (100VAC to 240VAC or 24VDC) and is energy efficient, drawing 1.25A at 120VAC and 6.25A at 24VDC. It offers flicker-free, quiet operation, full-range onboard dimming, and DMX dimming with DMX Auto Terminate. For cable-free control, it includes a DMX wireless link (Lumen Radio®). Firmware is updatable from a PC using the Mini B USB data port.

Serviceable Design for Long-Term Ownership

Ease of maintenance is built into a user serviceable design. It features a removable upper rail and quick access to pull-out LED platens that are easily replaced or repaired, supporting favorable cost of ownership for working crews.
