NEW ROBE ROBIN iFORTE

The NEW ROBE ROBIN iFORTE is an IP65-rated outdoor LED moving head spot designed for high-output long-throw beams and feature-rich effects in environments where rain, dust, haze, and temperature swings are part of the job. Built as the most powerful member of the Robe iSeries, it delivers the performance and creative toolset of the indoor FORTE in a fully protected package, making it a strong choice for touring, festivals, stadiums, and permanent outdoor installs.

Outdoor-ready design that stays serviceable

iFORTE negates the traditional weight penalty associated with IP-rated fixtures, being only 1.5 kg heavier than the indoor FORTE. With its class-leading form factor, size and appearance, and all the features and identical performance of the indoor original, iFORTE enables seamless integration with each other, even on the same truss if desired.

The ingenious ingress protection system has been specifically designed to allow standard maintenance and preparation procedures, such as TRANSFERABLE ENGINE exchange and gobo replacement without any additional tools, as gobo change or maintenance work can be done on-site. For outdoor reliability over long runs, the onboard RAINS (Robe Automatic Ingress Neutralization System) actively monitors humidity, temperature and pressure, automatically removing moisture detected within the fixture while continuously checking internal conditions for consistent performance.

iFORTE runs an ingenious Self Pressure Test to check internal pressure. This self-test, taking no more than 3 minutes, provides an error message if covers were not replaced correctly or locking screws were incorrectly tightened (Patent pending). Their lightweight magnesium alloy covers, with aluminium alloy substructure, provide a dust-free environment for the optics, helping reduce routine cleaning, maintenance time, and UV damage to plastic parts.

To maintain consistently high lumen output in outdoor conditions, water, dirt, dust, haze, and smoke are repelled from the front lens with parCoat hydrophobic, oleophobic resistant coating. This coating also supports easier cleaning of deposits without scratching or damage.

Setup and monitoring, even when power is off

By including NFC (Near-Field Communication) technology, you can access setup, diagnostic and performance features, even when the fixture is not powered, directly from your mobile device using the Robe Com app. This is especially useful for pre-rig checks, troubleshooting on a lift, or validating configuration during load-ins.

Cold-weather readiness with POLAR+

Outdoor fixtures need to operate in extreme cold. iFORTE contains POLAR+ technology, a special standby mode with low power consumption where the fixture’s sensors and communications channels continue to function. When activated, POLAR+ automatically maintains an internal temperature level, giving instant operability down to minus 50 degrees centigrade.

Light engines and optical performance

iFORTE is available with a choice of patented IP65-rated iSE-TE 1000W White LED TRANSFERABLE ENGINES, allowing you to prioritize output or color fidelity depending on the application. The identical 11:1 zoom optical system (5.5° to 55°) supports everything from tight aerial looks to wide coverage.

LED life expectancy is minimum 50,000 hours, with typical lumen maintenance L70/B50 @ 50,000 hours, and a light source warranty of 4 years or 20,000 hours.

Precision movement and color control for live production

Removing the need for distracting pre-use pan and tilt calibration movement, the patented MAPS (Motionless Absolute Positioning System) allows the fixture to fully calibrate while remaining static, which is particularly helpful in tight rigging positions or noise-sensitive environments.

The CMY color mixing system supports smooth transitions and accurate looks, with two color wheels (each with 5 fixed dichroic colors plus white), variable CTO from 3,000 K to 6,700 K, and ChromaTint (plus/minus green correction) for matching cameras, other fixtures, or venue lighting conditions.

Effects toolkit for beams, breakup, and shaping

For designers who need both aerial effects and controlled stage shaping, iFORTE combines framing, gobos, animation, prisms, and frost options in one fixture. The patented Plano4 four-plane framing shutter system provides four individually positionable blades, plus rotation of the complete frame system (+/- 60°) for precise shuttering and alignment.

Keeping up with modern control requirements, iFORTE incorporates Epass for maintaining network connectivity. For broadcast and IMAG workflows, Cpulse provides flicker-free management for HD and UHD camera systems, ready for 8K and 16K. The fixture is also designed for extremely quiet operation suitable for Theatre and TV.

AirLOC (Less Optical Cleaning) technology helps reduce airborne particles drawn over optical elements, improving consistency and extending time between cleaning intervals.
