Designed for powerful SDI switchers, Blackmagic Studio Camera 4K Pro adds professional 12G-SDI and 10G Ethernet connections for live production workflows where the camera needs to be positioned a long distance from the switcher. There's a 12G-SDI output and a 12G-SDI program return input that includes camera control, talkback and tally. You also get the same powerful HDMI output with control features. Plus the 10G Ethernet connection allows all connections on a single cable for a SMPTE style workflow that's much lower cost.

With 12G-SDI for Ultra HD video transport and a dedicated program return input, the Studio Camera 4K Pro is built to integrate cleanly into a broadcast-style switcher environment. The program return feed helps camera operators stay aligned with what is live, while embedded control, talkback, and tally support smoother multi-camera coordination. When you want to simplify cabling, the 10G Ethernet connection is designed to consolidate signals over a single run for a lower-cost SMPTE-style approach.

4K Sensor and MFT Lens Compatibility

The camera features a Four Thirds sensor (17.78mm x 10mm) with an active MFT mount, supporting compatible lenses with iris, focus, and zoom control. Capture in 3840 x 2160 Ultra HD at up to 60 fps, with standard frame rates including 23.98, 24, 25, 29.97, 30, 50, 59.94, and 60 fps, plus off-speed options up to 60 fps in Ultra HD. With 13 stops of dynamic range and dual native ISO modes (0dB and 18dB gain), it is designed to maintain detail across highlights and shadows in varied lighting conditions.

Bright, Built-In Monitoring and Fast On-Camera Control

A 7-inch 1920 x 1200 LCD capacitive touchscreen with 2000 nits brightness is intended for confident viewing in challenging environments such as studio floors and outdoor sets. Touchscreen menus, a rotary settings dial, a dedicated program button, three assignable function buttons (F1, F2, F3), and dedicated brightness, contrast, and peaking dials help operators adjust settings quickly without breaking workflow.
