The Barco Event Master EC-50 event controller delivers instant access and great situational awareness for everything from trade show booths to large corporate events and even music tours. Its small footprint makes it suitable for most control environments, while simultaneously packing all the power and durability needed for instant access to crucial functions. As an extension of the Event Master toolset, the EC-50 brings sources, presets, layers, and destination selection at your fingertips, along with a second, touch-enabled display.

Designed for fast, confident show control

Built as a cost-effective alternative to a full-sized controller, the EC-50 is a full-control USB device for the Event Master GUI, giving operators hands-on command where speed and accuracy matter. The internal 15.6-inch wide touch screen supports 10 point multi-touch for quick navigation and on-the-fly adjustments during rehearsals and live cues.

Hands-on programming with assignable controls

The EC-50 is designed around practical, show-day workflows, with 36 assignable buttons featuring customizable LCD displays to help keep key actions clearly labeled. Dedicated control includes 8 layer selection buttons plus a dedicated background layer button, and 12 user-definable destination buttons with multi-page functionality for expanding configurations as your system grows.

Precision transitions and tour-ready power

For smooth manual fades and transitions, the controller includes a high-resolution T-Bar. It also supports auto-ranging mains input (90-250 VAC) for easier deployment across venues and regions. Physical specs are 244.34 x 511.56 x 610.05 mm (9.62 x 20.14 x 24.02 inches), with a weight of 12.33 kg (27.2 lbs).
