GLP JDC1 Strobe

The GLP JDC1 Strobe is a dual-element LED strobe fixture designed for high-impact looks on tours, corporate events, and stage productions. It pairs a bright, crisp white strobe tube with a full-face RGB plate, so you can run classic strobe hits, saturated color effects, or combine both elements for layered looks from a single unit.

These GLP JDC1 Strobe fixtures were previously used for tours and corporate events. They show signs of wear but have been well maintained and are in good working condition. These units will be cleaned and tested prior to shipping.

Dual-Element Output for Strobe, Blinder, and Wash

The JDC1 contains a traditional single tube element created with LEDs that produce an incredible clear, bright white output. This is then combined with a surrounding full face of RGB power, utilizing a large array of complimentary LED sources. The possibilities are endless as these two elements have independent control and can be used as separate pieces, or combined for stunning effects.

Along with working as a powerful strobe light, both the tube and the full face sections can be run continuously for high output blinder and wash light effects, which never reduce output or have thermal cutouts. Separate control of intensity, rate, and duration for both the tube and plate elements helps you tailor everything from sharp, punchy hits to smoother audience and scenic looks.

Pixel Control and Mapping for Dynamic Effects

To give even more functionality, the RGB face can be divided into 12 separate ‘pixel’ sections, and additionally the bright white tube also can be divided into 12 sections and then the whole array can be fully pixel mapped through any standard controller. Each plate section includes 6 pixels (12 total plate sections), allowing detailed chases, gradients, and segmented eye-candy effects alongside the strobe tube.

Movement, Control, and Touring-Friendly Operation

• 185 degree tilt range with 16-bit resolution motorized tilt, position feedback, and high precision 3-phase stepping motor control for repeatable focus and smooth movement.
• DMX-512 protocol with pixel mapping control, plus a macro channel with Pulse and Random effects for fast programming.
• Back-lit graphic-LCD menu with battery operation for addressing and setup without powering the fixture from mains.
• Over-temperature protection for reliable operation in demanding show environments.
