The NEW GLP Impression S500 Profile is a compact 500W white LED moving head profile designed for professional lighting in TV studios, theaters, and musical productions. Building on the impression S350 form factor and GLP’s signature baseless design, the S500 series increases LED power to 500W for 30% to 65% more output, while also updating the optics, device software, and all connections and controls.

Choose Your Version: HC or HO

The impression S500 Profile series is available in the following versions:

• The Profile HC version features a white LED engine delivering 26,000 lumens at a native 6,000 K. It produces a highly balanced light spectrum for outstanding color rendering (CRI and TLCI above 90). This high light quality ensures natural and realistic skin tones and provides a total luminous flux of 10,700 lumens.
• In contrast, the Profile HO version includes a white LED engine delivering 40,000 lumens at a native 7,000 K. The highly efficient light source of the impression S500 Profile HO generates more power for dynamic projections and mid-air effects, with a total luminous flux of 14,800 lumens.

Optics, Zoom, and Precision Control

Both Profile versions feature a motorized zoom for exceptionally homogeneous illumination from 7.5° to 40° (1:6 zoom ratio), plus 16-bit focus with an optional focus tracking mode for sharp, repeatable looks across changing zoom positions. An output lens diameter of 140 mm supports clean beam shaping and projection performance.

Color, Gobos, and Effects for Versatile Looks

For flexible programming in theatrical and broadcast workflows, the S500 Profile includes CMY color mixing (0 to 100%), CTC color temperature control from 2,500 K to 8,000 K using the CMY system, and a color wheel with 10 fixed colors plus open, along with fixed and spectral filtering options. Creative texture and motion come from a rotating gobo wheel (7 rotating gobos plus open), a static gobo wheel (10 fixed gobos plus open), a 90° adjustable animation wheel (wave pattern), a blendable frost system (soft to medium), and a rotating 8-facet prism for mid-air effects.

Framing, Movement, and Quiet Operation

For precise shutter cuts and clean framing on scenery, set pieces, or talent, the fixture provides a framing system with four independently controlled shutter blades (each +/-30°), a rotatable framing module (+/-45°), and full positioning into the beam. Movement is smooth and accurate with motorized 540° pan (extended 565°) and 256° tilt, both with 16-bit control. The compact IP20 housing weighs 26.9 kg (57.4 lbs.) and supports quiet operation, making it well suited for noise-sensitive environments.
