The JMAZ ATTCO BEAM 230 is a hybrid moving head beam fixture designed for punchy aerial effects, tight mid-air beams, and fast, show-ready looks in clubs, events, and touring-style rigs. It combines a powerful, ultra bright OSRAM 7R lamp with a solid 2.5° beam angle and anti-reflection 136mm front lenses to keep output crisp and defined.

Optics, Output, and Beam Control

Built around a 231W OSRAM SIRIUS HRI discharge lamp, the ATTCO BEAM 230 delivers high-intensity performance for long-throw applications, rated at 164,230 lx @ 10m and 73,170 lx @ 15m. A frost filter is included for softening the beam when you want smoother texture, and electronic focus covers near to far (2.5m to 30m) to keep gobos and edges usable across a range of trims and throw distances.

Colors, Gobos, and Prism Effects

For programming flexibility, the fixture includes a color wheel with 11 colors plus open, and a static gobo wheel with 16 gobos plus open for sharp beam patterning. Dual prisms expand the look palette, including a 16-facet prism and a second prism system (8 facet plus 16) with variable speed for layered, kinetic beam breaks and wide aerial coverage.

Control and Show Programming

JMAZ ATTCO BEAM 230 is integrated with a full complement of professional characteristics including variable speed shutter/strobe and a 0-100% linear dimmer for smooth fades. For control, it supports 3-pin DMX512 in/out, Wireless DMX, and RF remote operation, making it adaptable for both hardwired lighting networks and cable-free setups. It also includes 9 built-in auto and sound programs for quick deployment when a console is not available.

Power, Rigging, and Physical Specs

Power is handled via powerCON in/out for practical daisy-chaining. The ATTCO BEAM 230 measures 15.2" x 15" x 8.7" and weighs 30.6 lbs, a manageable size for truss or floor use. The fixture is equipped with 3-phase motors for responsive movement and repeatable positioning in dynamic cue stacks.
