The MAC Viper Profile is a high-output moving head profile luminaire built for professional stage, concert, touring, and event lighting where long throw, crisp gobos, and reliable color control matter. With a 1000-watt HID source and a highly efficient optical system, it delivers 26,000 lumens with excellent light quality, a very flat and uniform field, and a 6000K color temperature. A fast 1:5 zoom with auto-linked focus and the large 140 mm front lens help you go from tight, punchy beams to broader coverage while maintaining the “fat beam” look that reads well in haze and on camera.
Optics, Zoom, and Beam Control
Designed for precision and flexibility, the Viper Profile combines a fast zoom system with tools for shaping and texture. A fast, tight iris supports clean size control and dynamic effects, and the soft frost can take the edge off for smoother aerial looks while keeping gobo artwork visible (with a linear focus blurring option). A 4-facet prism provides true beam separation with rotation and index control for more dimensional mid-air effects and tiling.
Gobos and Animation Effects
Two 5-slot rotating gobo wheels use all-glass gobos with optimal focal separation for clear morphing and layered looks. The FX wheel adds four fixed gobos plus a 135° animation effect, giving you additional motion content without needing external media servers.
Color, CTO, and Output Control
CMY color mixing delivers vibrant palettes including true reds, rich ambers, primary green, and deep blues. An 8-slot color wheel adds static colors and correction filters for fast bumps and straightforward color matching, and the linear CTO provides smooth daylight-to-tungsten CCT control while expanding the CMY palette. The combined dimmer/shutter system supports intensity effects, instant blackout/open, smooth fades, and diverse strobe effects using mechanical or electronic control (or both in combination).
