Designed around extreme environmental conditions, the ERA 700 Performance IP has the ability to work flawlessly from -20 degrees Celsius to +40 degrees Celsius, with C5M marine-grade salinity protection against harsh elements. The innovative active humidity control system maintains optimal humidity levels within the unit, helping prevent moisture-related issues and supporting consistent performance.

For outdoor deployments where protecting connectors and service points matters as much as the optics, this fixture also introduces several ground-breaking features that champion its functionality and security. It incorporates an anti-tamper box, preventing unauthorized access which also adds additional environmental protection increasing ingress protection to IP66 (IP65 without the anti-tamper box installed). Its IP rating also removes the need for outdoor protection domes, simplifying rigging and reducing visual impact in permanent installs.

The ERA 700 Performance IP offers a comprehensive toolkit for lighting design, including a CMYC color mixing system and a color wheel with a Spectral Enhancement filter pre-installed (CRI 90) for more natural-looking whites and improved color rendering in camera-friendly or mixed-light environments. A full curtain framing system supports precise shuttering for architectural lines and targeted highlighting, while the wide zoom range (5.4˚ to 44˚) covers tight beams through to broader washes for façades, stages, and outdoor scenic elements.

Effects and texture options include dual gobo wheels (1 rotating gobo wheel with 7 new designs and 1 static gobo wheel with 8 new designs), a new-design animation wheel, two prisms (linear and circular), dual frost (heavy and medium), and an iris. Control is flexible for modern networks, with DMX/RDM plus Art-Net/sACN via network with bypass, making it easier to integrate into touring, festival, and permanent site infrastructures.
