NEW Ayrton Rivale Profile is an IP65-rated LED moving-head profile luminaire built for mixed indoor and outdoor use, delivering a rare balance of output, precision, and creative tools in a compact 30.8 kg fixture. As the first model in Ayrton’s new “ULTIMATE” series, it shares a common platform with perfectly homothetic fixtures while targeting previously unimaginable weight-to-output ratios.

Built for demanding indoor and outdoor productions

Developed for use in all conditions, Rivale Profile combines weather-ready construction with a distinctive visual signature and touring-friendly handling. Its moving-head system supports continuous (infinite) pan and tilt rotation, giving designers and programmers more freedom for dynamic looks without reposition limits.

High-output 430 W LED engine with neutral color control

Rivale Profile is fitted with a brand new high-efficiency 430-watt sealed mono-block LED module calibrated at 6500 K. It delivers a luminous flux of 30,000 lumens (integrating sphere measurement, Stage Fan mode) for punchy aerial effects and high-visibility key lighting. A variable CRI system lets you fine tune rendering from 70 to 86, useful when balancing brightness against on-camera skin tones or scenic color accuracy. Flicker-free source management makes it suitable for TV applications and video-recorded events.

13:1 optics for tight beams through wide coverage

The proprietary optical system uses 13 lenses to produce a 13:1 zoom with a 4° to 52° range. With a 160 mm frontal lens and tempered anti-reflective coated optics, Rivale Profile can produce an ultra-intensive 4° beam, close to that of Ayrton’s famous “LT” versions, while still expanding smoothly for broader stage coverage via fast motorized linear zoom.

CMY mixing, CTO, and expanded color tools

Rivale Profile has adopted a brand-new high-definition progressive CMY color-mixing system designed for consistent color reproduction as soon as the filter is inserted, regardless of the color combination selected. An extended progressive CTO lets you fine tune color temperature from 2700 to 6500 K, and a seven-position color wheel adds complementary options for quick, repeatable color hits.

Framing, gobos, and effects for versatile cue building

The framing section permits accurate positioning of each shutter blade across a 100% surface area with plus-or-minus 90° rotation, supporting clean cuts for scenic masking and precise specials. A fast 15-blade iris diaphragm enables beam optimization in Beam mode. The image section includes 15 high-definition glass gobos across two wheels (one rotating wheel with seven positions and one fixed wheel with eight positions), while the effects section adds a monochromatic animation wheel, two combinable rotating prisms, and two frost filters for everything from textured movement to softened washes.

Mechanical design and reliability details

For smooth, repeatable motion, the moving head uses high-resolution stepper motors controlled by microprocessors, with extremely accurate positioning, 8- or 16-bit control, and automatic pan/tilt repositioning. The skeleton is built from aluminum and steel metal plates, with aluminum and copper heatsinks, molded self-extinguishing fire-retardant ABS/PC (V0 class) covers, four-side handles, and heavy-duty feet for stability. Exterior finish is black (Carbon). Dimensions are 14.17 x 26.6 x 12.44 in (360 x 676 x 316 mm), and total weight is 68 lb (30.8 kg).
