Minuit Une IVL Square

The Minuit Une IVL Square is a DMX-programmable lighting fixture designed to create immersive, sculptural looks across a wide area. It produces four directive light planes, one from each side of the square, and each plane can be adjusted through a 180° angle to build layered perspectives and 3D lighting shapes.

Four Independent Tilts for Layered, 3D Looks

Each of the IVL Square’s four planes is driven by 50,000-step motors with 16-bit tilt control, supporting smooth movement at very low speeds or fast, precise position changes. With infinite tilt movements and position combinations, you can create evolving structures, symmetrical arrays, or asymmetric compositions, then store easily adaptable position presets for repeatability in touring, installations, or rental workflows.

Beam Splitting and Two Output Modes

For each tilt, choose between two modes, a directive light or a wash light, letting you shift from defined geometry to softer coverage within the same fixture. The IVL Square’s light planes can be cut into 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, or 256 beams from a single source, opening up a wide range of looks from bold, graphic lines to dense beam textures.

Control and Color

Programmable with any DMX console, the IVL Square is designed to be simple and intuitive to control and should only require a few minutes to get your hands on. In mode 2, it supports infinite color combinations for smooth RGB textures and calibrated output aimed at immersive results.

Safety Certification and Rigging Flexibility

Certified as a Class 3R fixture, the IVL Square has standard safety, as it is for LEDs or lamp based lighting. IVL Square can be used by any lighting designer or lighting company without a variance needed. It is also attachable in any position for flexible rigging options in truss, floor, or custom mounting designs.
