This listing is for a Package of (16) ROBE ROBIN BMFL Blade moving lights. They were used in a theatrical environment and were never used outdoors. They show signs of wear but are in good working condition. One of the road cases and a bad latch (shown in photo) but the case is still functional.

The ROBE ROBIN BMFL Blade is a high-output moving head designed for theatrical, concert, and event lighting where tight beams, smooth washes, and precise framing are required. With an 11:1 motorized zoom (5° to 55°) and a 160 mm output lens, it transitions cleanly from narrow aerial looks to wide stage coverage, while maintaining crisp focus across the range.

Precision Framing and Beam Shaping

Four fast shutter blades with smooth and precise movement in the BMFL Blade lighting fixture. Individually angled and positioned within a frame - which itself can rotate through 90 degrees, providing a sharp or soft, precisely repeatable, frame for the projected image.

Producing a series of fast-moving in-air effects through pre-programmed shape and movement sequences of the blades, gobo images can be trimmed or framed in a regular, triangular or trapezoid shape. Each pair of opposing blades can close to a complete blackout. This makes it well-suited for clean shutter cuts on scenery, isolating performers, or keeping projections off masking and sightlines.

Color, Gobos, and Aerial Effects

Two gobo wheels – one rotating with six slot and lock gobo positions plus another with 8 static gobos can be combined with the Animation wheel to create numerous dynamic projected effects. The aluminium Animation Wheel can be used alone or layered with gobos for flowing textures, while the rotating and indexable 6-facet circular and 6-facet linear prisms add multi-beam and aerial breakup options.

For color control, the fixture provides CMY mixing (0–100%) plus variable CTO (2,700–6,000 K) to balance to cameras or match tungsten sources. Two color wheels add quick access to fixed dichroic colors and replaceable “SLOT&LOCK” colors, supporting fast changes and repeatable looks in cue-based programming.

Light Engine, Movement, and Control

The compact short-arc metal halide lamp system (approved model Osram Lok-it! HTI 1700/PS, PGJ 28 Lok-it! base) delivers a 6,000 K beam with CRI 92+ and automatic/remote lamp on/off. Motorized dimmer and shutter systems provide smooth fades, strobe up to 10 Hz, and full blackout, with a motorized, stepless iris for tight beam control and pulse effects up to 3 Hz. Pan and tilt ranges (540° pan, 270° tilt) support fast repositioning and repeatable focus for programmed shows.
