Built for demanding environments, the S-500 delivers extreme high output with an adjustable snowflake size, so you can dial in anything from light flurries to a fuller snowfall look. A low-noise design helps keep the effect immersive in theaters, houses of worship, and live events where audio matters.

Control options for live events and installs

Use the onboard LCD display with membrane push buttons for quick setup, or integrate the machine into a show control workflow using DMX 512 (2 channels). The S-500 also supports manual and timer operation, plus optional wireless control, wireless DMX, and a cable remote (all optional). For added motion control, it can be paired with the optional PM-1 pan motor for 120° rotation (not included), making it easier to cover wider areas from a fixed rig point.

Designed for flexible placement and tougher conditions

The included road case adds protection and supports outdoor operation, while the extension hose enables flexible placement for installations where the machine needs to be hidden offstage or positioned away from the effect zone. The ambient operating range is 5°C to 40°C (41°F to 104°F).

Fluid system, power, and connections

A 20-liter (5.28-gallon) tank supports longer runtimes, and fluid consumption is rated at 400 ml/min at 100% output. For best performance, the S-500 is compatible with Antari SL-20 series snow and foam fluids, including SL-20, SL-20A, SL-20N, SL-20AN, SL-20H, SL-20C (antifreeze), and SL-20UV (UV snow fluid). Power is AC 100 to 120V, 50/60 Hz (7.5A) with 900W rated power. Connectivity includes Neutrik powerCON for power, XLR 3-pin and 5-pin for DMX, and XLR 4-pin for remote control.
