Chauvet Professional Cloud 9 is a low-lying fogger that creates thick, cloud-like effects with a high-impact output ideal for use on large-scale stages, theatres, live performances and theme parks. With a 4-minute heat-up time and no dry ice or CO2 needed, it avoids the extra licensing or training often associated with cryogenic systems. Because it runs without a special coolant or compressor, you only need water and fog fluid for continuous output.

Low-Lying Fog Performance for Large Areas

Designed for professional productions and venues, Cloud 9 delivers 15,000 cfm of output and can produce coverage for up to 3,230 ft² (300 m²), making it well-suited for big reveals, walk-on moments, and scenic transitions where you want fog to stay close to the floor. An ultrasonic agitator combines distilled water with fog to create the low-lying effect, and you can tailor how the fog behaves in the air by using fog fluid, haze fluid, or quick-dissipating fluid.

Road-Ready Build and Practical Cleanup

Built for touring and repeated load-ins, the robust unit weighs in at 121 lbs and is equipped with several transport-friendly details including its road case housing, metal handles and wheels to easily glide across any stage. It ships in a rugged flight case with locking casters, plus a hinged top cover so the unit can operate even when the case is closed. For end-of-show maintenance, an integrated water drain system helps speed up cleanup, and a low fluid shutdown adds protection during operation.

Simple Control for Production Workflows

Control it on the LCD display or via DMX, which makes it easy to integrate into lighting cues and show control. For positioning the effect where it matters, the unit uses a directional hose system (8 ft / 2.44 m fully extended) with a 4.76 in (121 mm) outer-diameter output nozzle.
