The MA Lighting grandMA3 viz-key provides a stable, secure connection between third-party visualization software and grandMA3 lighting control systems. Connect the viz-key to your visualization computer to enable the parameters needed for visualization, with the external visualizer recognized on the network as a MA-Net3 device for direct integration into your grandMA3 session.
Built for Third-Party Visualization Workflows
Each visualization computer requires one grandMA3 viz-key. It supports all third-party visualizers, so there is no need for a manufacturer-specific dongle. This makes it an easy fit for studios, previsualization suites, and production environments running grandMA3 onPC or external visualization tools alongside a grandMA3 system.
Onboard Parameters for Simple Output and Testing
The grandMA3 viz-key includes 512 parameters onboard that can be output via DMX over Ethernet. This is useful for basic fixture checks and real-world testing when no other parameters are available.
Activation and Connectivity Requirement
To successfully activate the vizualisation parameters of the grandMA3 viz-key, an internet connection to the MA Worldserver is required every 10 days. This connection is automatically established in the background as soon as the grandMA3 onPC software or any other vizualisation software is started.
