The Blizzard SwitchBlade Flip brings dual-sided creativity to your rig. One side delivers tight RGBW beams with motorized zoom, while the other side fires cool-white pixels for crisp eye-candy effects. Combined with infinite pan (540°) and tilt (270°), multi-zone pixel mapping, and high-speed movement, it’s built for designers who want their looks to move, shift, and evolve mid-show without swapping fixtures.

Dual-face output for beams, wash, and pixel looks

As a dual-face hybrid beam / wash / pixel moving head, SwitchBlade Flip lets you jump between punchy beam work and graphic pixel effects in a single fixture. The beam side uses 4x 60 W RGBW 4-in-1 LEDs with a 2.5° to 28° motorized zoom for everything from narrow aerial lines to broader, more wash-like coverage. Flip to the pixel side for a crisp, high-CCT look with 9x 10 W cool white LEDs (3.5° beam, 10,000 K CCT) that cut through haze and read cleanly on camera.

Pixel mapping and animation-ready control

Front and rear LED zones are pixel-mappable for chases, sweeps, and segmented effects that can be built directly from your console or pixel-mapping software workflow. The fixture combines 108x 0.5 W RGB 5050 SMD LEDs with 96x 3 W cool white SMD LEDs (10,000 K CCT) to add color accents and bright white texture, giving you more layers for eye-candy looks and mid-show transitions.

Programming, movement, and connectivity

High-speed movement is supported by 8 to 16-bit pan/tilt resolution for smoother fades and more precise positioning. For punctuation and energy, strobe effects run from 0 to 30 Hz with speed and background control. SwitchBlade Flip supports DMX channel modes 20 / 34 / 93, plus DMX512, Master / Slave, Auto, and Sound Active operation. Power and data integrate easily into touring and installed rigs with a PowerCON© TRUE1 power input and 5-pin DMX in/out connectors, while a 5-button LCD menu keeps addressing and mode changes quick at the fixture.

Practical sizing for mobile and installed rigs

With dimensions of 19.4" x 7.8" x 11.4" and a weight of 22.8 lbs, it’s sized for truss, floor, and compact rig applications where you want multiple looks per position without adding more fixtures.
