Blizzard Typhon IP Kaleido is an outdoor-ready RGBW wash and effects moving head built around 7x 60W LEDs with independent pixel control for precise, single-point looks or full-face washes. It delivers a tight 4 degree beam, a broad 32 degree wash, and a 5 to 50 degree spot range with smooth motorized zoom, making it well-suited for stages, architectural facades, festivals, and touring rigs that need fast, flexible coverage.

Color, zoom, and pixel-driven effects

Designers can shape looks using RGBW color mixing with rainbow effects, plus CCT control from 2500K to 10000K for matching cameras, practicals, or ambient lighting. Static and dynamic effect macros speed up programming, while flowing front aperture animations and ring-based effects add motion and texture without additional fixtures. Independent LED pixel control enables segmented chases, accents, and punchy aerial-style hits from a compact wash platform.

Output and performance

Typhon IP Kaleido is rated at 23,500 lux at 5 m with 7100 lm luminous flux, delivering strong presence for mid-to-long throws. Electronic dimming provides four curves, four speeds, and four frequencies for smoother fades and flicker management, and the strobe range covers 1 to 30 Hz.

Movement and control options

Fast movement supports dynamic looks with 540 degrees pan and 250 degrees tilt, selectable at 8-bit or 16-bit resolution for either quick response or finer positioning. Multiple DMX configurations (21, 28, 31, 35, or 55 channels) let you balance control depth with console footprint. Control and networking include DMX512, RDM, Art-Net, and sACN, with both 3-pin and 5-pin XLR In/Out for easy integration into existing systems.

Built for outdoor and touring use

With an IP66 rating, Typhon IP Kaleido is designed for wet and dusty environments, while intelligent temperature control helps protect output and extend LED life (rated 20,000 hours). The fixture measures 13 x 9.6 x 17.9 in (329 x 245 x 454 mm) and weighs 27.12 lb (12.3 kg). An ATA-spec flight case is available separately and holds four units for streamlined transport and storage.
