Tambora Stormy features 27 segments of RGBW SMD LEDs for smooth, seamless graphical effects and precise pixel mapping. Choose from pre-programmed static and dynamic patterns, then fine-tune color, speed, direction, fade, and strobe to match your cueing style and the energy of the show.

Advanced Layer Management for richer content

The Advanced Layer Management system lets you mix three layers at once: a background color, an internal built-in macro sequence, and external video content. This workflow-friendly approach helps you build complex looks quickly without sacrificing control, then switch between layers seamlessly when programming or busking.

Wide-angle beam and tunable white control

Designed for broad coverage, the fixture offers a 120° beam angle that supports large-stage strobe effects and strong, even output for shorter throws. Linear CTO (2700K to 8000K) and dynamic color temperature control with Red Shift tech make it easier to maintain consistent whites and natural-looking warm dimming behavior within mixed rigs.

Connectivity, control modes, and on-board tools

Tambora Stormy integrates into modern control networks via DMX, Art-Net, and sACN, with RDM and a built-in webserver for setup, addressing, and remote access. It provides multiple personalities for different workflows, including a main engine with 10/32/26 channels and a pixels engine with 81/108 channels. Locking 5-pin XLR and RJ45 in/out simplify clean cable runs, while PowerCon True1 in/out supports dependable power distribution. A graphic backlit LCD, diagnostics, DMX monitoring, and firmware tools (including upload from another fixture and web-based upgrades) support efficient maintenance on site.
